This project started in 2017 in a countryside excursion with the university to Gaoping “China”, a rural area which economy is based in the corn farming. The landscape there is caracterized by wide corn fields that sometimes seem to be even endless. I could explore then the textures and shapes of the dried canes through the physical experience and the practice of drawing.
the practice of sketching a figurative topic is taken as the excuse to proceed in the research of line drawing and its sensibility in modulation. The creation of an original artwork that derives directly from the environment, in which it happens to take part of.
