“LEAVES” is a project that began in 2014 in Beijing, where the use of paper and geometry got to meet with materials and concepts taken from Chinese Traditional Painting. This project is about the use of Chinese Materials for researching Line and Geometry as a compositional tool.
Exhaustive practice can be considered the basics of this creative process, under which the surface of the paper gets covered with ink at the same time as the perception of each piece evolves, resulting in a new perspective of the reality itself. Results lie on each work within an incrising level of consciousness in every new step done, which remains noticeable in a deeper sensibility and acknowledge of the technique.
